Alliance Martial Arts Center of Braselton is a family-owned school. Todd Hendrickson has been practicing Martial Arts for over 35 years. He is a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 1st degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (under legendary 7th degree red/black belt Romero “Jacare” Cavalcanti), and a POST Certified Instructor in Defensive Tactics. Phillis Hendrickson has 10 years experience in several forms of Martial Arts including Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga. She is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo and a blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Phillis has many years experience in numerous children’s programs. Todd and Phillis are focused on a family-centered training facility that incorporates all areas of growth, both mental and physical.
Taekwondo (TKD) is a Korean stand-up/striking style martial art that focuses on mental discipline as well as physical training. We teach a modern day form of Taekwondo that includes Boxing, Kickboxing, and Modern Combatives. TKD is the most popular martial art in the United States and is an official game in the Olympics.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art focusing largely on grappling and ground fighting. It utilizes natural body leverage and proper technique to obtain dominant control on the ground and, as a result, provides greater position for striking or submission holds. BJJ has been proven, when used properly, to be an effective method for dealing with bigger and stronger opponents.
Monthly tuition is $99 per month (no contract) for one program; $149 for both programs. We offer reduced rates for additional family members and Black Belt Club members.
